Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics is the dental phase of dentistry that includes the diagnosis, prevention, interception, and correction of malocclusion (a problem in the way the upper and lower teeth fit together in biting or chewing), as well as problems with the bones and muscles of the jaw and surrounding area.  Dr. Munger has been diligently studying orthodontics and methods that produce the best smiles since the late 1970's.  This enables him to leverage the most current and effective techniques on a case-by-case basis to meet patients' individual needs.

Please note:  Our office does not perform extractions of bicuspid teeth for the purposes of treating orthodontic or orthopedic issues. These extractions can cause facial features to collapse, resulting in unwanted conditions such as elongated noses, pointed chins, or temporomandibular joint problems later in life.
